Swedish Hospitals Still Overcrowded

Swedish health authorities have announced a tougher stand on overcrowding in the nation’s hospitals – promising even more fines slapped on local governments for not correcting the situation.

    Despite repeated complaints, some hospitals here continue to put patients’ beds in corridors or elsewhere – arguing that there are periods when the emergency wards get filled up.
