Repo Rate Stays at Record Low

Sweden’s repo rate stays at its all-time low of .25 percent. In a statement announcing the decision the country’s central bank, Riksbanken, said the key interest rate would most likely be kept at this level until the end of next year.

Not all board members shared this prognosis. Two of the top managers said they would prefer to raise the key rate earlier next year.
