EU to Provide Climate Change Funds

The countdown to the U.N. climate mega conference in the Danish capital of Copenhagen has now started in earnest.

As various actors prepare themselves for the encounter at the beginning of December, the European Union has raised the stake by revealing that it’s prepared to cover a substantial part of the fund needed to the developing countries tackle the impact of climate change.

But as Radio Sweden reports, it comes with strings attached.
