Billström to Revise Asylum Rules on Children

The Swedish government's migration minister Tobias Billström is to strengthen the rights of children seeking asylum here.

Writing in Saturday's edition of Svenska Dagbladet, Billström wants to make it easier for people who have been refused asylum but have children in Sweden, to be allowed to seek permission to stay in the country. Migrationsverket, the Swedish Migration Board, will look into how many extradition orders have been given involving children.
