Red-Greens Get Thumbs Down From Business

A red-green victory in the next election would be bad for business, according to a new report by the Confederation for Swedish Enterprise.

In the report the organisation has ranked policies from the Social Democrats, Greens and Left Parties according to whether they will promote economic growth or not.

The Greens did best, scoring 2+ in the 5-point scale (0=Worst, 5=Best), The Social Democrats scored 2, while the Left Party only got 1.

The parties lose points due to their plans for tax hikes after the next election. The Confederation also claims that plans to raise the levels of unemployment benefit would reduce the incentive for the unemployed to get a job, and make it more difficult for employers to hire.
