And Then There Was One...

General Motors confirmed Tuesday that there is just one bidder left negotiating to buy its Swedish-based Saab division. So the Dutch luxury carmaker Spyker is the last hope to avoid a closure.

Swedish negotiator Jöran Hägglund, the top civil servant at the Ministry of Enterprise and Energy, says the Swedish government will examine Spyker’s ability to make the deal.
