Saab Will Be Shut Down

General Motors has decided to shut down Saab, Reuters reports. The sale of Saab to Spyker will not go through, the company has revealed, meaning a shutdown is the only option.'

"We will work closely with Saab to wind down the operation in an orderly and responsible fashion. This is not a bankruptcy," said Nick Reilly, the director of GM Europe, in a press release from GM.
