Swedish Rails to Improve Schedules?

The unusually cold winter weather and heavy snowfall have been causing numerous delays and cancellations of commuter and long-distance trains in this long, Scandinavian nation – with angry complaints coming from stranded passengers.

The Swedish Parliament’s worried transportation committee has called in the heads of the Swedish state railways, known as SJ, and Banverket, the Swedish Rail Administration, and others to discuss the problems.
