War on Benefit Cheats Reaps Dividends

Försäkringskassan, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency says it claimed back a record amount of money from benefit cheats last year.

The war on cheats saw the Agency claw back 930 million kronor in total (129 million dollars) almost double the amount from the previous year.

The agency credited the rise in reclaimed money by its "complex" investigations into sickness benefits and sickness and activity compensation.
