Sweden Tied 1-1 in Davis Cup

Sweden are tied 1-1 in their Davis Cup tie with Argentina going into Saturday's doubles in Stockholm.

Friday's opening action saw Sweden's best player Robin Söderling beat cup debutant Eduardo Schwank 6-1, 7-6, 7-5 but Argentina drew level after big serving Joachim Johansson surprisingly went down in four sets to Leonardo Mayer.

Argentina are playing without US Open champion Juan Martin del Potro and Juan Monaco who were both injured, but star player David Nalbandian has recovered from injury and is expected to play in today's doubles.

Söderling, ranked seven in the world and partnered by Robert Lindstedt on saturday, said after his match "I feel good, it's a straight-sets win and I have to be happy with that."

Sweden are captained by Tohomas Enqvist for the first time since Mats Wilander left his post.
