Collective Bargaining

New Tariff Deal Sealed

In another round of the ongoing collective bargaining, unions and employers have agreed on a new tariff deal for the 12,000 workers at the railway construction sector. As the news agency TT reports, the workers will see their incomes rise by 3.2 percent over the next 23 months – which is in line with tariff agreements at other sectors. The unions also managed to implement increased social benefits for their members, such as additional parental pay.
