Clothes Swapped All Over the Country

Bring five clothes that you have grown tired of - and swap them for five others. A simple and climate friendly way to update your wardrobe, according to the Swedish Society for Nature Conservation, which arranged a clothes swapping day in 36 towns and cities around Sweden on Saturday.

By doing this, the organisations wants to focus on the amount of nature's resources that are used when new clothes are made. "Among others a lot of water, and water is a scarcity in many parts of the world, particularly in the countries where a lot of our clothes are produced," the project leader Jessica Andréason told the news agency TT.
