Volvo Trucks Bounces Back

Volvo Trucks, which is still Swedish-owned, says its deliveries rose 42 percent year-on-year in April.

The company rose out of the worst plunge in demand in decades, strengthened by a 104 percent  surge in Asia.

The world’s number two truck-maker which also sells under the Renault, Mack, UD Trucks, and Eicher brands, says shipments rose 14 percent from a year ago in Europe, and climbed 27 percent in North America.
