The journalist Ingrid Segerstedt Wiberg has died, Göteborgs-Posten Online reports. She passed away of Friday, 98 years old.
Segerstedt Wiberg is known for her work for peace, human rights and refugees. She was a member of parliament for the liberal party 1958-1970 and worked as a journalist in Gothenburg.
In 2006 the European Court sentenced the Swedish State to pay damages to Segerstedt Wiberg and four others for how they had been treated by the Swedish Security Police.
