Push to Support Crime Victims

The Swedish government wants to make it easier for victims of crime to get personal support during police interrogations and trials.

This is already possible, but victims rarely take advantage of it.

In the coming weeks, a study will be carried out to determine how to make it easier for a victim to get personal assistance, according to the newspaper Dagens Nyheter.

The study will review, for example, whether victim helplines and social services could be useful.
