In Northern Sweden some 50 Vietnamese berry pickers walked off the job in a protest march.

Meanwhile, western Sweden was also effected by unrest as Vietnamese berry pickers rioted there.

Meanwhile, western Sweden was also effected by unrest as Vietnamese berry pickers rioted there.

A police commissioner in western Sweden told TT that five supervisors were locked in a room and one of them had their hands bound together.

A representative from the company who purchases the berries told news agency TT that the strike had to do with an internal conflict within the Vietnamese employment agency. "It has to do with salaries and broken promises," he said.

Last Thursday, 200 Chinese berry pickers in Sweden also walked off the job.
