Sweet surprise in the woods

At least 700 kilos of wine gums have been found in a forest in southern Sweden, writes local paper Västerviks-Tidningen.

Police are calling this a case of theft, and suspect that the sweets were deliberately dumped by the delivery driver.

The shipment of organic wine gums was worth at least 100,000 Swedish kronor (over 15,000 US dollars). The sweets were imported from a German factory and would have been delivered to a company in Växjö. Instead they seem to have ended their journey around 100 km to the east, near the town of Västervik.
