election 2010

Losers still shrinking

An opinion poll from Sifo suggests that, if an election were held today, the parties that lost out in September would do even worse, and the Sweden Democrats would still hold the balance of power.

The Social Democrats are down to 29.5 per cent.

The smallest parties of the Alliance, the Center and Christian Democrat parties, are on 4.2 per cent - dangerously close to the 4 per cent limit to enter parliament.

Toivo Sjörén, at Sifo, says to news agency TT that this result shows that tactical voters from the Moderate party are now back to their real loyalty.
