No means no, says sex crime commission

Published onsdag 27 oktober 2010 kl 11.54
Both have to say yes, according to the proposal

A government-appointed commission has presented proposals for new sex-crime laws. The investigators have been looking at the effects of the most recent legal reforms, carried out in 2005.

They say a new classification of "sexual assault" is needed, for cases when an assailant has non-consensual sex with a victim, whether or not there has been force or exploitation involved. The crime would give four years imprisonment.

They add however that the legal protection for personal and sexual integrity, as well as the protection of children from such crimes, has improved since the introduction of the latest laws in 2005.
