Interview with the Swedish Forces in the Korean DMZ

The international community is continuing its debate on how to deal with North Korea’s nuclear ambitions. Sweden, along with Switzerland, has had a presence in the demilitarized zone separating the north and south since 1953.

Commander Mats Fågelmark is the Deputy Head of the Swedish Delegation of the Neutral Nations Supervising Commission in  Panmunjom, Korea.

He told Radio Sweden’s Dave Russell about the current situation:
