Sweden Criticised Again for CIA Flights

According to a new European Parliament report, Sweden is among 11 countries aware of the secret CIA prisons in Europe.

The draft report, written after months of a special committee investigation, calls on national authorities to launch their own legal probes into whether their national security services were involved and whether they violated EU human rights laws.

Sweden has already been criticised by United Nations and human rights groups for allowing the CIA to take two Egyptians to Cairo, where they later said they were tortured.
