Henrik Larsson signs loan deal with Manchester United

The former Sweden international, had been expected to end his career at his hometown club, Helsingborg, after returning there from a two year stint at Barcelona.

Helsingborg’s Chairman, Sten-Inge Fredin, announced to local media on Friday that the 35 year old will go on loan from January 1st to the middle of March. Larsson said he may not start every match at Manchester United, but it feels like a ”fun thing”.

He retired from the national team, for the second time, after this year’s World Cup.
