Hiv Man's Little Black Book.

One of Sweden’s most wanted criminal suspects, the so-called HIV Man, has been in touch with his lawyer after years of silence.

There’s an outstanding arrest warrant here for rape, attempted assault, and attempting to spread a dangerous disease. Infected with the AIDS virus, he is believed to have had unprotected sex with 130 women and two men. The HIV Man has been on the run since 1998 and in 2003 it was reported that he was taken into custody in Iran for other crimes including fraud.

His lawyer says he wanted to know the status of the proceedings against him here in Sweden. His lawyer says, ”I’m astonished by the phone call and that he’s alive. There were rumours that he would be hanged.”
