Heart Attacks Felt in the Teeth

New research reveals that pain in the teeth or jaw can be a sign of an impending heart attack.

The study by scientists in Sweden and Uruguay included 186 patients suffering from heart problems. When asked what part of the body was experiencing pain, 71 pointed to their jaw or face. Most were women.

The study is published in the January issue of the “Journal of the American Dental Association”.
