Sweden to open virtual embassy

Sweden is going to become the first country to start official diplomatic relations in the fantasy world, Second Life.

The Swedish Institute says the embassy will not issue passports and visas, but it will inform players how they could get the documents, in the real world.

The Institute is an agency of Sweden’s Foreign Ministry which is fully backing the plan.

According to the Second Life website it has around 3 million inhabitants at the moment.
