Women can’t discriminate against male gynaecologists

It is being reported patients in southern Sweden will no longer be allowed to choose whether they are treated by a man or a woman.

The newspaper Helsingborgs Dagblad says it has been ruled that it is discrimination to refuse to be examined by a male gynaecologist and from now on women will be allocated one of either sex, at random.

It is thought patients from ethnic backgrounds which have ”patriarchal” traditions will be exempt, as will women who have suffered a sexual assault.
