Heart Attacks Linked to Bacteria

A Swedish study has shown that a common airborne bacteria can cause heart attacks.

Half of all Europeans in their 20s are said to have been exposed to Chlamydia Pneumoniae which can cause hardening of the arteries.

A researcher at Linköping University says people could be given vaccines which stop the bacteria getting into blood-vessels.
