Landlords Forbid Dangerous Dogs

More and more housing companies in Sweden are banning dangerous dogs from their properties.

They say residents feel threatened by the animals and so they’re introducing clauses in contracts to stop people from keeping dogs bred for fighting in their apartments.

Some dog owners who’ve been refused a flat say they are the victims of discrimination becayse they are not able to live where they want just because of their pets.

New laws were proposed by the government last month to ban certain individuals from owning dangerous dogs after a series of attacks on people.
