Sweden’s embattled Liberal Party leader Lars Leijonborg has announced that he will resign after weeks of criticism from party ranks. Nick Chipperfield has the details:

One of Sweden’s foremost scientific achievements was after all the result of manipulated data. But now it has been revealed that a guest researcher manipulated the data to achieve the result which at the time was described as spectacular. Professsor Ove Nilsson, head of the research group, explains to Azariah Kiros what the research was all about:
