Wildcat Miners Strike Ends

A wild-cat strike at state-owned mining company LKAB has come to an end after three days.

Around 300 workers were demanding a pay rise of almost 600 US dollars a month and claimed the firm could afford to give them a bigger increase than the 10.2 percent they had already been promised.

Both sides are now said to be hopeful of reaching an agreement.
