Swedish Prime Minister on US Visit

Swedish Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt has arrived in the United States for a round of meetings and talks, the central focus of which will be energy use and climate change.

Reinfeldt kicks off his tour in New York on Monday with a meeting with UN General Secretary, Ban Ki-moon.

However, the undeniable high point of the three day trip is Reinfeldt’s planned hour-long meeting with US President George Bush on Tuesday, when the two leaders are set to discuss the situation in Afghanistan, Kosovo, Darfur and Iran.
