Linné 2007 inaugurated at Stockholm's open air cultural museum Skansen

Radio Sweden Thursday

Sweden’s most renowned scientist of all time, Carl von Linné or Linnaeus, developed the revolutionary system of classification, or taxonomy known as the Systema Naturae, formulated over years of careful observation.

This year marks the 300th anniversary of the great naturalist’s birth. In a special program today, Bill Schiller tells us about Linnaeus and the celebrations in his honor.
