More Criticism for Nuclear Station

The Swedish Nuclear Power Inspectorate has fired stark criticism at the Forsmark nuclear power station after an inspection of construction at the facility.

The inspectorate says there were major deficencies, including work done in haste, inadequate documentation and shortcomings in the area of interaction between employees and on-site technology.

The Swedish Nuclear Power Inspectorate has demanded a series of improvements.

This is the latest criticism for the troubled Forsmark Plant. Last year a fire broke out in an electrical switchboard, and since December it has experienced several shutdowns.
