Leijonborg Bowing Out

In his final summer speech as party leader for the Swedish Lliberal Party, Minister for Education and Research Lars Leijonborg proposed giving economic bonuses to students who complete their studies on time, without delays.

Leijonborg believes this will encourage young people to get into the job market quicker.

Leijonborg will step down as party leader in September, and it is believed Minister for Schools Jan Björklund will take over the position.
