Climate Change Expedition to the Arctic

A group of Swedish and Danish climate researchers are heading north, for an expedition to the Arctic, north of Greenland.

With the icebreaker Oden they will try to get through up to five meter thick ice in an area where no researchers have managed to go before.

Their mission is to follow ice and glacier movements so they can better understand and interpret previous periods of climate change.
