Criminals Employed as Bouncers

The newspaper “Dagens Nyheter” reports that people with serious criminal records are being employed as bouncers at many of Stockholm’s nightclubs and bars.

They include robbers, drug dealers, and others convicted for assault. According to their employers they need such people to keep order, as no one else dares.

Stockholm’s bouncers have been widely criticised for using unwarranted violence.
