Double Tests Help Combat Uterus Cancer

A new Swedish medical study claims fewer women would get cancer of the uterus – if the normal gynecological cell tests were complemented by a test for infections from the wart virus HPC.

The study of 12,500 women between the ages of 32 and 38 claims that the virus can be a pre-stage to cancer – and early detection can prevent the disease.

The survey has been printed in the New England Journal of Medicine.
