For a century, Sweden has been putting gender equality at the forefront. In recent years, cries for equal pay have proven that while the fight may not yet be won - it does continue to be a loud and well-heard battle. And now, with an influx of immigrants - new concerns have been added to the debate.
The largest groups of refugees in Sweden come from Iraq and the former Yugoslavia. At the same time Sweden has many projects supporting non-government organizations in those countries. George Wood visited the Olof Palme International Centre, which runs many of those programs.
