Nuder Not Happy

Social Democrat Pär Nuder has declared his anger at being forced to leave his role as economic spokesman for the party.

The move came after a conversation with party leader Mona Sahlin was leaked to the press.

Nuder says someone has deliberately spread rumours that Sahlin is dissatisfied with him despite him saying she has never showed signs of being displeased with his work. He added that the leak has damaged both the party and its leader.

He went on to say that the possible reasons for his forced departure could be because of his close association with the former party leader, Göran Persson, or that he threatened the political ambitions of those in Sahlin’s inner circle.

Nuder entered the position in 2006.
