Charlotte Petri Gornitzka, Save the Children

Radio Sweden Tuesday

In today’s half hour from Stockholm, Radio Sweden reports on proposals to toughen up Sweden’s anti-discrimination laws.

We’ll meet the Swede who will be the first from this Nordic country to head the international Save the Children’s organization – and the first woman in this top position.

We’ll see how Sweden has fared financially – 5 years after rejecting the euro in a national referendum.

And we’ll hear some unusual Swedish twists to some of the classics of international jazz and pop.

Closing Music: Sharon Dyall, Tommy Berndtsson, ANOTHER ANGLE
