Bosses Knew About Beef Scandal

New details revealed in conjunction with the mince beef scandal throw negative light on the executives of the supermarket chain “Ica”.

News agency TT reports the executive board of the chain already knew that some of its branches were falsifying expiry dates on a number of packages before the scandal was made public on Swedish Television.

Nevertheless, the executives continuously claim they were not aware of the extent of the scandal.

In a month’s time the first branch managers face their trials for having infringed upon food laws.
