Business Collapses On The Up

The numbers of Swedish companies going bust has risen sharply over the last 12 months. 440 businesses shut their doors in Sweden in April, that’s up 8 percent compared to the same period last year.

The firms most hit were in the construction and business consultancy sectors. However experts say they aren’t worried by the rise, as levels of business failures have been at historically low levels for the past few years, and they put the current rise down to the slight weakening of the Swedish economy.
