Free Public Transport For All, Says Left Party

The former communist Left Party is to start a campaign for free public transport.

It says a test project in the southern Swedish county of Skåne and central Swedish Örebro would cost tax payers 290 million US dollars annually, but would encourage people to uses buses and trains, thus reducing traffic and cutting down greenhouse gas emissions.
