Raids Carried Out On Suspected Pedophiles
Police carried out early morning raids throughout Sweden on Tuesday, targetting the addresses of over 30 suspected pedophiles.
Computer equipment and other material was seized by police operating in 14 different counties.
Police say some of those taken in for questioning are suspected of sexual assault against children.
The co-ordinated raids were part of an surveillance operation carried out by the National Criminal Investigation Department.
In a statement, the NCID said the suspects were part of a network of people who chat about sexual assualt on children on an internet discussion forum.
