Henke Larsson To Make International Comeback

Swedish National Football Team Manager Lars Lagerbäck unveiled the country’s team for the upcoming European Football Championships Tuesday and had a trick up his sleeve.

Gasps and cheers could be heard in the hall as he unveiled that striker Henrik Larsson is make his comeback for the Swedish national side. Larsson, now 37, had previously said that he would never play for Sweden again, feeling he had done his bit in an international career that had lasted over a decade. But following a good season in his home team of Helsingborg, he has now put his name up for selection again, something the Swedish manager couldn’t say no to, following poor performances by a Swedish side plagued by injuries.

The European Championships are to be held in Switzerland and Austria next month.
