Inflation On The Up

Inflation continues to rise here in Sweden, in May the inflation rate was at 4 percent compared to the year before, that’s 0.2 percentage points higher than analysts had predicted.

Higher fuel prices, more expensive food and shoes are behind the rises. Experts say that the Swedish Central bank will have to respond soon by raising interest rates to get inflation back down to the target rate of 2 percent.
