Bacteria Found in Malmö Restaurants’ Water

2 out of 3 restaurants in the Southern Swedish city of Malmö have poor water quality in their taps, and 1 in 10 serves its customers water that is undrinkable.

That’s the result of a survey carried out by health and safety officers from the local council. They say the water contains bacteria such as E Coli which can cause food poisoning, and that the bacteria are in the water because the pubs and restaurants aren’t cleaning their ice machines and bar taps enough.
