Polls: Opposition Still in the Lead

The latest opinion poll carried out by Statistics Sweden gives the opposition a comfortable lead of 15 percentage points.

According to the poll Sweden’s four-party alliance government receives 40.1 percent whereas the three opposition parties claim 55.7 percent altogether.

Compared with the previous poll from November 2007 not much has changed. The Social Democrats remain the biggest party while the Christian Democrats struggle to keep themselves above the four-percent-threshold.
