Young Women Most At Risk Of Psychological Problems

Young women are the only group in Swedish society where psychological illnesses are growing rapidly, according to a new report by the National Board Of Health And Welfare.

The number of young women aged between 15 and 24 going in to psychiatric care has risen by 50 percent over the last 20 years, and Anders Prins from the board is now calling for more help for young girls in school, so that problems can be treated before the situation gets so bad that the girls need serious psychiatric care.
