Politicians Unite to Fight FRA “bugging" Law

A group of centre right politicians from the four government parties have started up a network to fight against the new FRA “bugging” law.

The network want to scrap the new legislation which allows the Swedish National Defence Radio Establishment to listen in to all phone calls and read all email and phone text correspondence that crosses Swedish borders.

The group’s fairly high profile members include the Christian democrats EU MP Anders Wijkman and the 15-member group’s want to prove that the new FRA law actually breaches the rule of law protecting non-criminals from the intrusion on personal integrity.
